About us

The Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is one of the largest public sector pension schemes in the UK with over 4 million members.

The scheme is administered locally through 90 regional pension funds. Kent Pension Fund is one of these regional pension funds and is administered by Kent County Council.

The responsibilities for Kent Pension Fund are dealt with by Superannuation Fund Committee, Treasury and Investments Team and the Pension Section. You can find further information in What we do.

In addition Kent County Council administers the Kent Police Officer schemes and the Kent Firefighter schemes on behalf of The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent and Kent Fire and Rescue Service respectively.
