From April 2015, if you are a regular police officer, you are automatically admitted to the Police Pension Scheme 2015 (PPS 2015).
Members who started in the police force before that date were able to join the Police Pension Scheme 1987 (PPS 1987) or the Police Pension Scheme 2006 (PPS 2006). Depending on age, some of these members have or will be moved to the PPS 2015.
