State pension age

Your State Pension age (SPa) is the earliest age that you can receive the basic State Pension. Visit GOV.UK to find out your SPa

SPa was equalised to 65 for men and women in 2018 and increased to 66 in 2020. Under current legislation, SPa is due to rise to 67 between 2026 and 2028 and to 68 between 2044 and 2046. The government announced further plans to link rises in SPa to increases in life expectancy.
