Actuarial valuation
An actuarial valuation of Kent Pension Fund (the Fund) is carried out every 3 years. The last valuation was completed by Barnett Waddingham as at 31 March 2022.

The report includes details about:
- the methods and assumptions used to evaluate the Fund
- the valuation results
- the employers’ contribution rates and adjustments which are set for the following 3 years
- a comment on the COVID-19 crisis.
The next actuarial valuation is due as at 31 March 2025 with the results effective from 1 April 2026.
