Academy pool and contribution rate
There is currently one academy pool for all academies. The employer contribution rate is calculated by the Kent Pension Fund (the Fund) actuary and is based on ongoing assumptions.

Single or multi academy trusts
We recognise the single or multi-academy trust as the employer. Once an academy has contacted us regarding a conversion date, we will deal only with the trust contact that we have on our records to obtain any necessary information.
Once in the Fund, your trust must notify the Treasury and Investments team immediately of any changes to your organisation e.g.
- change of address
- change of contact name
- change of telephone number
using the Employer changes form.
