You need to register to use member self service. If you have already registered, log in to member self service

Member self service is an online secure facility for members of the LGPS in Kent. Find out what you can do in member self service

If you have more than one pension account, you can access all of them on your dashboard. Use the drop down box in the top right of the dashboard. If you have left one of your posts and we have not finalised that pension account, it may not show yet.

Register

To register to use member self service, you need your:

  • Personal email address
  • National Insurance number
  • Date of birth
  • Surname.

The details that you enter must match what we hold in the pension system. If we do not hold your personal email address, you can still register.

Once you register, you must complete your registration. You need an activation code to do this. If we already hold your personal email address, we email an activation link to you immediately. If we do not already hold your personal email address, we post an activation code to your home address. Use your link or code to complete your registration. Once you complete your registration, you can log in to member self service any time.

It is quicker and easier to register if we already hold your personal email address. Complete the online notification of personal email address form

We update your personal email address on your pension account within 10 working days.  We try to action this quicker whenever possible.  Please wait a few days after letting us know your personal email address, then register.

Complete your registration

When you have registered, you must complete your registration. You need to have a username, password, and 2 security questions. Your username will be your personal email address. You create your own password and 2 security questions when you complete your registration.

If we already hold your personal email address, we email an activation link to you when you register. Use the link to complete your registration. The link expires after 24 hours. If you do not receive your email, please check your spam or junk email folder. If your link expires, you must register again.

If we do not already hold your personal email address, we post an activation code to your home address that we hold. We post it within 15 working days from when you register. The code is valid for 60 days from the date that you register. The letter details how to complete your registration using your activation code. If you do not use your code within 60 days, you must register again.

If you have moved recently, you must let us know your change of address before you register. Complete the change of address form. If you are a current member still paying in, tell your employer your change of address too. Some employers update us electronically. If they hold your old address, it may overwrite.
