We have a friendly and welcoming membership.
Our main meeting is on the second Monday of each month and most months we have an outside speaker or sometimes a quiz.
In the summer we have a cream or strawberry tea and at Christmas, we have a party which is always well attended by members. A raffle is held each month with the proceeds of the summer and Christmas raffles being donated to a charity which has been chosen by members.
A book/bric-a-brac stall is a popular feature at our meetings and there is always a cup of tea and a biscuit.
We hold a photographic competition in the Autumn with the theme chosen from suggestions made by members
There is a small walking group that meets for a gentle walk on the fourth Thursday of the month (on the flat, no stiles) and this is followed by a pub lunch
Monthly lunches are arranged at different venues.
On the fourth Monday of the month there is another meeting for social activities, when members can play cards or board games, or join a small group who do art or craft activities.
A number of day trips are arranged annually and friends and family are invited to join these.
