The following is a list of activities currently undertaken by the branch and we always ask members at least once a year to put forward ideas for the programme.
Talks
By professional speakers at most of our monthly meetings and these have included
- a retired coroner
- a magician
- a policeman and many others.
Quizzes and Games
General knowledge, bingo and countdown.
Walks
Regular walks in the wonderful countryside around Tunbridge Wells usually followed by a pub lunch.
Visits
Visits to local attractions such as Groombridge Place, Knole House and also further afield to Thursford Christmas spectacular, a French market, House of Commons and Clarence House.
Possible outings
We are also hoping to arrange a number of possible outings including:
- Kentish Lady boat trip on River Medway from Maidstone
- Trip on Bluebell Railway with lunch or cream tea
- Kew gardens
- Leonards Lee gardens
- Boat trip in Chichester harbour
- River trip from Sandwich - Seal spotting
- pub lunches throughout the year.
