The Wyvern branch (encompassing Sittingbourne, Faversham and the Isle of Sheppey) is one of the newer branches of KARF having been setup in July 2005.
KARF Wyvern meet up on the last Monday of each month at 2pm in Tunstall Memorial Hall Sittingbourne. Meetings currently attract between 40 and 50 members. The monthly programme includes refreshments, a quiz, a raffle plus either a professional speaker, an entertainer or a home-grown activity. There is an online quarterly newsletter and monthly updates to keep members informed of our other activities. These include pub lunch, walking, friendship and cinema groups plus occasional coach trips and seasonal celebrations. Each year a charity is chosen with a dedicated table at each meeting to raise funds. There is also a second-hand bookstall, which is exceptionally popular.
