Payment to an overseas account

If you decide to move abroad, your pension can still be paid monthly into a bank account anywhere in the world.

Convera (formerly known as Western Union) deal with overseas transactions. If you already use Western Union for payment of your pension overseas, you do not need to complete a Convera form unless you change countries.

Money should be in your account between 1 and 3 working days after the due date. There is no administration charge. The exchange rate used is Convera business rate, not the foreign exchange rate.
