Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
Information about the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for individuals who:
- are thinking of joining the Scheme;
- are a current member paying into the LGPS;
- have stopped paying in but have not reached retirement age, and have deferred benefits held in the Fund with us, or
- are in receipt of a pension from us.

The Elmes v Essex judgement changed legislation regarding cohabiting partners of members who died before April 2014.
